Applied professional thesis
The professional thesis is a cornerstone of the programme. Each participant develops a set of concrete, operational recommendations for a company's management, addressing a real legal or tax issue.
Supervised by a faculty tutor and drawing on all the programme's teaching, it is defended before a panel of professors and practitioners. It counts for 50% of the final grade.
Teaching methods and assessment
Teaching methods
The approach is dynamic and interactive, based on self-learning (the participant's ability to find original solutions to the problems encountered) and peer-learning (collective handling of a shared problem within "learning groups" guided by a facilitator). The emphasis is on autonomy, individual and collective ownership, and group reflection on concrete cases.
Total volume: 460 hours, split between technical seminars (240 h) and the professional thesis (220 h), plus thesis supervision, personalized follow-up and defences.
Assessment
The programme is divided into two semesters, graded on a 0 to 20 scale. Each semester ends with written exams (3 hours) and the programme concludes with a final exam (5 hours). The professional thesis counts for 50% of the final grade.
Attendance is compulsory: beyond 10% of unjustified absences, no honours; beyond 20%, no Master's. Overall average: GPA = (S1 + S2 + 2 TH) / 4.
