Objectives

Business Law and Taxation

The Specialised Master's in Business Law and Taxation provides theoretical and practical knowledge in business law and corporate taxation, to gain a comprehensive understanding of various situations that may arise in the business world and to grasp their legal and tax implications. The objective is to enable professionals to master the legal and tax impacts of their management decisions.

01Master the processing of tax files and ensure their effective follow-up
02Assist taxpayers in tax audit and litigation procedures
03Establish legal monitoring and anticipate regulatory changes
04Become familiar with the legal dimension of businesses essential for conducting business
05Introduce to negotiations, contractual techniques, arbitration, and mediation
06Optimize the legal and tax structuring of restructuring, merger, and divestiture operations

The Professional Thesis

Applied professional thesis

Participants are required to produce an applied professional thesis on a project related to their company, sector and activity. This work is supervised by an ISCAE professor.

A research methodology seminar and six supervision sessions are provided. The defence takes place before a panel composed of professors and professionals.

Assessment methods

Assessment is based on continuous assessment, the final examination, attendance and participation. The programme concludes with the defence of the professional thesis.

Entry requirements

01Hold a higher education diploma at a Bac + 3 or Bac + 4 level (or equivalent) and have at least two years of professional experience
02Hold a higher education degree at a minimum Master's level (or equivalent) and demonstrate at least one year of professional experience.
