Welcoming International Students : A Taste of Morocco, A Gathering of Cultures
True to a longstanding tradition that reflects its commitment to international openness and to providing a high-quality experience for its participants, Groupe ISCAE brought together its international students on Friday, 23 October, for a traditional lunch celebrating conviviality and Moroccan hospitality.
Far more than a culinary gathering, this occasion reflects Groupe ISCAE’s commitment to making academic mobility a fully enriching human and intercultural experience. Through couscous, an iconic symbol of Morocco’s culinary heritage and the values of sharing, the institution reaffirms its commitment to intercultural dialogue, closer ties between peoples, and the development of lasting academic partnerships.
The Directors of ISCAE-Casablanca and ISCAE-Rabat, the Academic Director, the Director of Development, International Relations and Communications, together with the administrative teams, warmly welcomed their guests in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. This collective commitment illustrates the importance Groupe ISCAE places on supporting international students and facilitating their integration into its academic community.
Coming from Africa, Europe and Asia, these students are welcomed through partnerships with international business schools and universities, as well as cooperation programmes supported by the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation (AMCI). The diversity of their backgrounds and experiences reflects Groupe ISCAE’s international reach and its determination to strengthen its engagement with the global academic community.
Throughout the gathering, discussions about academic mobility, cultural discoveries and shared memories gave rise to enriching conversations, highlighting the value of such encounters beyond the classroom. These moments help strengthen students’ sense of belonging to an international community while fostering mutual understanding and building lasting connections among participants.
Through this initiative, Groupe ISCAE reaffirms a fundamental conviction: the internationalisation of higher education extends beyond academic exchanges and cooperation agreements; it is also shaped by the quality of the welcome, the attention given to each participant, and the richness of shared human experiences.
Over a couscous lunch, Moroccan traditions thus became a common language for a community representing diverse backgrounds and horizons. This convivial gathering embodies Groupe ISCAE’s ambition to make international engagement a driver of intercultural dialogue, academic cooperation and institutional visibility on the international stage.
