Groupe ISCAE, co-organizer of the 4th Sustainable Finance Meetings, was represented by Professor Mohamed Amine ISSAMI during this benchmark African event held at ISCAE Nouakchott, in Mauritania. These meetings, which have become a key event on the continent, brought together academic, institutional, and professional stakeholders to discuss the major challenges of financial transition and sustainable development in Africa.
As a panelist for this edition, Pr ISSAMI presented his research on artificial intelligence, metrics, and their impact on sustainable finance in Africa. His presentation provided rigorous scientific insight into the potential of artificial intelligence tools in measuring, evaluating, and directing financial flows toward sustainable and responsible investments.
By combining technological and financial dimensions, his work opens new perspectives for African institutions seeking to integrate ESG criteria into their financing decisions. It also lays the groundwork for in-depth reflection on how data and algorithms can serve the sustainable development objectives specific to the continent’s economies.
This participation is part of the applied research dynamic that Groupe ISCAE intends to promote beyond national borders, by actively contributing to the scientific and professional debates shaping Africa’s economic future. It confirms the institution’s role as a space for knowledge production and dissemination in service of ongoing transitions.
Groupe ISCAE thus reaffirms, through the involvement of its teacher-researchers in major continental events, its mission to train, innovate, and contribute to the major reflections shaping the future of sustainable finance in Africa.
