As a pioneer in management education in Morocco and a national and international benchmark within the network of African Business Schools, ISCAE has adopted the LMD (Bachelor-Master-Doctorate) system by launching a new program of excellence, the "ISCAE Bachelor" (Licence ISCAE). This program awards the National Bachelor's Degree in Management (Licence Fondamentale en Gestion), granting access to Master 1 programs.
The objective of this program is to equip high-potential Baccalaureate holders with fundamental, cross-cutting, and multidisciplinary managerial knowledge to prepare them for highly selective graduate studies.

- Admission to Master 1 (M1) programs at renowned Grandes Écoles and universities through national and international pathways. Notably, top-performing students have the opportunity to join the ESCP Europe Grande École program as part of a double-degree agreement for students selected to enter the M1 of the Grande École program.

The objective of this program is to equip high-potential Baccalaureate holders with fundamental, cross-cutting, and multidisciplinary managerial knowledge to prepare them for highly selective graduate studies.
- The ISCAE Bachelor program is open via a competitive entrance exam to Baccalaureate holders (Moroccan, French, or equivalent Scientific or Economic Baccalaureate), who are no older than 21 years of age on December 31st of the year of the exam.
- The entrance exam consists of three stages: pre-selection, written examinations, and oral examinations.
- A 6-semester curriculum after the Baccalaureate
- Pedagogical framework based on a competency-based approach, designed to:
- 1—Build a personal general knowledge base
- 2—Master quantitative management and decision support disciplines
- 3—Understand the fundamental principles of organizational management
- 4—Understand and integrate into an organization
- 5—Communicate proficiently in at least three languages

The objective of the program is to enable students to master, by the end of their curriculum, management tools, concepts, principles, and methods, as well as all aspects of organizational management.
It also allows students to develop the personal skills required to perform as versatile, creative, and innovative managers, in sync with the demands of the business world within a globalized context.
More specifically, this program is designed to enable the student to:
- Acquire core curriculum training in various management concepts, principles, and methods
- Acquire specialized training by choosing a specialization
- Develop skills and abilities that foster autonomy, decision-making, leadership, and entrepreneurship
- Gain practical experience through an internship program aligned with these objectives
- Gradually take ownership of their learning to manage their professional and personal development, achieve organizational mobility, and adapt to changing job market trends
The program structure consists of core curriculum courses (50%), specialization courses (35%), a graduation thesis, and other activities (15%).
Core Curriculum
The core curriculum consists of 24 teaching units. Through these core courses, students will develop general knowledge of management. They will understand the external environment in which businesses operate and grasp the technical aspects of corporate management. They will also familiarize themselves with human aspects and organizational dynamics and learn how to manage accordingly. Core courses are taught during the first three semesters of the program (S1, S2, and S3).
Specializations (Tracks)
Each track consists of three components: specialization courses, cross-disciplinary and methodological courses, internships, and the graduation thesis. Specialization courses are taught during the last three semesters of the program (S4, S5, and S6). The S6 semester is dedicated to the internship and writing the graduation thesis. Three areas of specialization are currently offered and may evolve:
Corporate Internships
The objective of corporate internships is to prepare students for the professional world and provide them with recognized work experience. Students must complete three corporate internships over their three-year program: two lasting two to three months, and one lasting four to six months.
Graduation Thesis
The Graduation Thesis is an integrative project in which the student addresses a management issue submitted by a company. The thesis is a public document in which the student defines the problem, contextualizes it within academic theoretical frameworks and its specific environment, analyzes it, formulates and evaluates hypotheses, and offers recommendations. The Graduation Thesis is the culmination of the third and final internship of the ISCAE curriculum.
The ISCAE Grande École Program is open via a competitive entrance exam to:
- Candidates from economic and commercial preparatory classes (classes préparatoires)
- Candidates from mathematical or physical science preparatory classes
- Candidates who have completed or are completing their second year of higher education in Economics or Management
Entrance Exam Process
The entrance exam consists of three stages: pre-selection, written examinations, and oral examinations.
For candidates from mathematical or physical science preparatory classes, the process consists of two stages: pre-selection based on the CNC written examination results, and oral examinations.

Groupe ISCAE launched its Doctoral Program in 2011, in accordance with its new development strategy and under Law 13/06, which now governs its operations.
At least three reasons supported this initiative:
- Developing Research — Research has become a requirement for business schools seeking to maintain their standing. Like teaching, management research must now contribute to the smooth operation, growth, and reputation of the institution.
- Training Consultants and Experts — Meeting corporate needs for senior executives, consultants, and experts specializing in management, given the rapid changes in the financial system and the economic environment.
- Training Faculty and Researchers — Training teacher-researchers (faculty) in various fields of management to meet the new pedagogical supervision needs generated by the growing number of students and the creation of new Master's programs.
Doctoral Training Program
The doctoral program aims to train PhDs in Management and specifically meets the following objectives:
- Provide doctoral students with a high-level education recognized both academically and by corporations in core management disciplines
- Train future teacher-researchers who will contribute to the excellence of higher education programs, curricula, and research work
- Train future PhDs prepared to integrate into corporations, capable of providing consulting and expertise, and leading strategic and innovative projects
The program is structured around two main axes:
- Cross-disciplinary modules — designed to ensure a common knowledge foundation and foster exchange among doctoral candidates. These begin with a preliminary introductory module on management research.
- Specialized modules — offering doctoral candidates advanced instruction in each of the main management science disciplines and allowing them to deepen their academic knowledge in their field of specialization.
Doctoral Program Timeline
- 1st Year (D1) — Cross-disciplinary and specialized modules (thesis proposal definition, methodology seminar, specialized seminars, research follow-up workshops). The pedagogical aspect will be reinforced through a teaching load (tutorials) completed by doctoral students acting as assistants to permanent or adjunct faculty.
- 2nd Year (D2) — Specialized seminars, research follow-up workshops. Doctoral candidates are encouraged to undertake training periods abroad at academic institutions or corporations.
- 3rd Year (D3) — Writing and finalizing the thesis, pre-defense, and final defense.
Candidate Profile
Doctoral studies are open to candidates holding a degree from the Groupe ISCAE Grande École, a National Research Master's degree in Economics or Management, or any other equivalent degree. A high level of proficiency in both spoken and written English is required. Enrollment is subject to the thesis advisor's approval, particularly regarding the candidate's research proposal. This program is limited to a cohort of a maximum of twenty (20) doctoral students.
What policy should a business school adopt regarding research?
Research must be developed because leading business schools do so; because they are accountable for future progress; and because research enhances the school's brand image.
Thematic Research Areas
- Finance — financial market theory, corporate finance, financial diagnosis
- Accounting — highly applied work in collaboration with companies, theoretical work linked to finance research, accounting information regulation
- Marketing — services marketing, advertising, brands, social implications of marketing, econometric techniques
- Human Sciences and Organizations — organizational history and operations, human resource management, power dynamics, corporate integration into society
- Strategy and Corporate Policy — business strategies, public policies, regional and national development
- Public Sector Management — specific characteristics, business ethics, organizational governance
Le Centre d'Études et de Recherche en Gestion de l'ISCAE (CERGI)
CERGI's mission is to develop and promote research within the designated thematic areas. The research center is a hub where researchers gather to share resources. Faculty members regularly conduct research to help solve management problems.
The Doctoral Cycle comprises a doctoral school, culminating in a PhD in Management, and management research housed at the ISCAE Center for Studies and Research in Management (CERGI). It is overseen by an Advisory Board and led by a full professor and two assistant professors.
Admission Requirements
Admission to the PhD in Management program is open, via a competitive process, to:
- Candidates holding a degree from Groupe Institut Supérieur de Commerce et d'Administration des Entreprises (Master's grade)
- Candidates holding a Master's degree in Management, a Specialized Master's in a management discipline, or equivalent degrees
- Holders of postgraduate degrees from the Institut Supérieur du Commerce et d'Administration des Entreprises
- Holders of the National Diploma in Chartered Accountancy (Diplôme National d'Expert Comptable)
Duration of the PhD in Management
In accordance with the provisions of Article 9 of the aforementioned Decree No. 2.08.65, the preparation of a PhD in Management takes three years. This duration may be extended by one or two years by the Director of the Group's institute, upon the recommendation of the Director of the Doctoral Studies Center, and following the thesis advisor's recommendation.
Thesis Defense Committee
The defense committee consists of at least four members, including the thesis advisor. The committee chair must be a full professor or an authorized research director (professeur habilité). Upon passing, the defense report awards one of the following distinctions: Honorable, Very Honorable, or Very Honorable with the Congratulations of the Committee.
Enrollment in the first year is based on application review, a written examination, and an interview:
- Application Review — focusing on the candidate's academic background and research proposal. The application review accounts for 35% of the overall evaluation.
- Written Examination and Individual Interview — aimed at evaluating scientific knowledge in management, research motivation, understanding of contemporary global issues, general knowledge, and proficiency in foreign languages (French and English). The written examination and individual interview account for 65% of the overall evaluation.
Candidates who are absent or arrive more than 15 minutes late after the start of the written exam are automatically disqualified. The cohort is limited to a maximum of twenty (20) doctoral students.

The Chartered Accountancy Program (Cycle d'Expertise Comptable) is a curriculum organized by Groupe ISCAE leading to the National Diploma in Chartered Accountancy (DNEC), issued by the government authority in charge of Trade and Industry. The Chartered Accountant Diploma, a prestigious title established by the Decree of July 16, 1990, is awarded to candidates who satisfy the education and internship requirements defined by the decree.
The Title of Chartered Accountant
The title of Chartered Accountant (Expert Comptable) is regulated by the Dahir of January 8, 1993, promulgating Law 15-89. However, the Dahir of August 30, 1996, promulgating Law 17-95 on joint-stock companies, stipulated in Article 160 that no one may perform the duties of a statutory auditor unless they are registered with the Ordre des Experts Comptables. This further reinforces the prestige of the Chartered Accountant diploma in Morocco. Indeed, Chartered Accountants are all members of an organized body called the Ordre des Experts Comptables, governed by the aforementioned Law of January 8, 1993.
Entrance Exam Components
The competitive entrance exam for the Chartered Accountancy training program comprises 4 subject groups:
- Financial Accounting and Management Accounting
- Business Law and Tax Law
- Management
- Expression and Communication Techniques
Admission Requirements
To be eligible for the entrance exam, candidates must hold one of the following degrees/diplomas:
- ISCAE Normal Cycle Diploma
- Groupe ISCAE Diploma (Master's Grade)
- ISCAE Cycle Supérieur de Gestion (CSG) Diploma
- ENCG Diploma (Master's Grade)
- Bachelor's degree (Licence) in Economics, majoring in Management or Business Economics
- French Diploma of Advanced Accounting Studies (DECS) along with a Baccalaureate
- Any degree recognized as equivalent by the Ministry of Higher Education (M.E.S)
The entrance exam typically takes place in October of each year.
Curriculum Operations
Once admitted, candidates follow a training program conducted in parallel with the 3-year internship, consisting of: theoretical courses, tutorials, and seminars.

Year-to-Year Progression
Progression to the next year is contingent upon successfully obtaining the certificate of the preceding year.
Exam Sessions
There is a regular session in June and a retake session in September. Admission is granted to candidates who obtain an overall average of 12/20. However, only candidates with an overall average above 9/20 are allowed to sit for the retake session.
Professional Internship
Candidates admitted to the Chartered Accountancy program are required to complete, in parallel with their studies, a 3-year professional internship under the supervision of a certified Chartered Accountant practicing independently, as a partner, or as an employee.
